Water, water everywhere…that is both the main attraction for members and guests, and the main challenge for an emergency response.
Boaters are an inherently careful and cautious group; guests and children are not.
Clubs with large junior sailing programs are prime candidates for emergencies on the water.
Even seasoned skippers who are at the dock or on a mooring until all hours of the night “relaxing” may need an immediate response on occasion. Are you ready?
Our Yacht Club Program creates a professional, systematic response that is rehearsed and coordinated, no matter whether the incident is on the water, in the club house, a guest room, the dining room, the bar, the pool, or the boat yard.
Your staff will know how to take care of someone during the first critical five minutes, and until professional EMS help arrives, which could be up to 20 minutes later.
We can integrate communications with the harbormaster and Coast Guard, if needed, and have a coordinated system to get the person back to land for EMS to take over.
