Training & Support

Overview

When an emergency happens, staff need the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond and provide immediate assistance to that member, guest or colleague until professional helps arrives.  ClubSafe prepares staff on how to manage a medical emergency during the “first 5 minutes” with American Heart Association(AHA) certified training programs.  Unique to ClubSafe training programs is the integration of staff procedures found in the Emergency Response Plan designed by ClubSafe.  Each season, ClubSafe returns to refresh staff knowledge in AHA life saving skills and their role during an emergency at the club.

Staff Training

AHA CPR/AED Certification

ClubSafe conducts the AHA Heartsaver AED program at your club.  Staff are prepared in Adult and Child CPR, proper AED use and managing a choking victim.  This core program is recommended for all key staff including, managers, wait staff, kitchen staff, locker room attendants, golf and tennis pros, grounds and building maintenance personnel.

AHA First Aid Certification

ClubSafe conducts the AHA Heartsaver First Aid course which prepares staff to manage medical emergencies and injuries not covered in the CPR/AED course.  This program is designed specifically for employees in the workplace, the “what to do” for a heart attack, stroke, seizures, diabetic emergencies and injuries large and small.

Mock Drills

ClubSafe conducts exercises using real-life scenarios involving staff in their actual roles during an emergency.  Mock drills improve your staff’s understanding of response procedures and builds confidence in their ability to manage an incident.  Drills are held on the property and within the facilities.

Annual Refresher Training

CPR/AED and First Aid skills are refreshed each season so that staff certification is maintained from year to year.  Reviewing emergency procedures with staff and conducting annual mock drills are included.

Staff Support

ClubSafe provides on-going staff support year round as follows:

Maintain Staff Training Records

ClubSafe monitors your staff training year to year, maintains certification records and sends an annual training reminder with staff certification status and program schedule.  When key staff are in need of recertification or when new staff are hired, ClubSafe will recommend and schedule the appropriate course.  Teaching professionals in need of specific documentation for licensing receive an individual ClubSafe letter verifying hours and subject matter.

Review Incidents

Any time an incident occurs at the club, an incident report is generated and recorded with ClubSafe.  Immediate feedback is given to staff to address concerns, identify areas that need improvement or enhancement. Only positive reinforcement is utilized to improve staff response and build confidence in preparation for the next occurrence.

We live, in fact, in a world starved for solitude, silence, and privacy: and therefore starved for meditation and true friendship.
